Norton Spacer Tape

Norton Spacer Tape, now commonly known as Thermalbond V2100, is a structural glazing spacer tape widely used in the construction and glazing industries. It is designed for use in both two-sided and four-sided structural glazing systems, serving a critical load-bearing function while the structural silicone sealant cures. The tape is recognized for its compatibility with various structural silicone adhesives, including those from Sika®. It's available in multiple thicknesses, ranging from 3.2mm to 12mm, to accommodate different application requirements. Thermalbond V2100 is noted for its open-cell structure, which allows air and moisture to reach the silicone for optimum curing, its semi-rigid polyurethane foam composition compatible with all tested silicone sealants, low thermal conductivity for improved wall performance, and excellent resistance to temperature variations, fungi, and oxidation​
