APPLICATION STEPS

When Should Primer Be Applied?

Add just one step before applying tape. It takes only a few minutes, with no changes to your production tools.

Clean the Surface

Remove all oil, dust, and contaminants, then allow the surface to dry completely before proceeding to the next step.

Apply a Thin Coat of Primer

Use a brush or sponge to apply a thin, even coat. Avoid thick layers or repeated application that causes pooling, as this slows drying and reduces adhesion.

Allow to Dry (Flash-off)

Allow the solvent to evaporate until the surface is dry and no longer tacky to the touch, following the drying time specified in the product's TDS.

Apply Tape or Silicone Sealant

Join the parts after the primer has dried. Press firmly to ensure the adhesive makes full contact with the entire bonding surface.

PRECAUTIONS
Safe Handling and Use
Most primers are solvent-based and classified as flammable liquids and vapors. They are intended for industrial use or trained personnel only. Use in a well-ventilated area, away from sparks and heat. Wear the specified protective equipment, and always read the product's MSDS before starting work.

For slippery plastics such as PP or PE, general-purpose primers are not effective enough. A formula specifically designed for low surface energy (LSE) surfaces is required. Metals, glass, and ABS offer a wider range of options.

A
