A tape with adhesive on both sides of an exceptionally thin carrier (tissue, PET, or non-woven). It creates a smooth finish with no visible tape lines and is ideal for mounting logos, nameplates, electronic components, printed and packaging materials, furniture, and high-volume die-cut parts. It bonds securely and neatly while helping accelerate production.
Thin double-sided tape consists of a carrier—such as tissue, PET film, or synthetic non-woven—coated with adhesive on both sides and protected by a release liner before use. Its exceptionally thin construction enables close contact, a smooth finish, minimal added thickness, reliable die-cutting, and precise, neat assembly.

Ultra-thin double-sided bonding creates a smooth finish with no visible tape lines, supports die-cutting and repeatable production, and allows the adhesive to be matched to the surface and environment.
Balance peel adhesion, shear strength, and initial tack for the application. Electronic components, buttons, and lenses require high shear strength, while general label applications benefit from good tack.
For applications requiring a smooth finish, choose an ultra-thin grade or Transfer with no carrier; for dimensional stability and shear strength, choose PET; for uneven surfaces, use Non-woven or Tissue with flexibility.
Acrylic resists UV, heat, and moisture and suits LSE surfaces; Rubber provides high tack for general or temporary applications; Silicone is designed for high-temperature applications or bonding silicone/PTFE materials.
Define the application and service temperature ranges and exposure to sunlight, moisture, oil, and chemicals to select the appropriate adhesive and carrier.
Silicone-coated paper is cost-effective, while PET Liner offers smooth release and strength for kiss-cutting and automation while reducing wrinkles and stretching.
Choose a trusted brand with TDS documents and certifications, such as SOKEN, 3M, NITTO, TESA together with guidance for selecting the right grade for the application.
