HOW TO CHOOSE
Choose Right for the Job, Just Answer 3 Questions
Answer these before ordering to get it right the first time.
1
What is the surface type?
Smooth surfaces like epoxy/polished concrete require higher tack adhesive than standard tiled floors.
2
Will vehicles drive over the lines?
If forklifts are frequent, choose PET Heavy-Duty · Standard models are sufficient for foot traffic.
3
Are there any special site conditions?
If there are chemicals, high heat, or high humidity, choose a material grade that specifically withstands them.
*Specs vary per model — consult our team or refer to the KINGHAWK TDS before purchasing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Tap a question to view the answer
Why is using marking tape better than painting floor lines?▼
Ready to use immediately after application. No waiting for paint to dry or closing the area overnight. Lines are sharper, and if the layout changes, you can simply peel it off and reapply without scraping old paint, helping reduce production downtime.
Forklifts frequently run over the lines, will the tape last?▼
It will last if you choose the right model for the traffic weight. Lines repeatedly crushed by wheels require exceptionally tough film and strong adhesive.
We recommend using
PET Heavy-Duty for forklift lanes · The standard model is enough for walkways, no need to overspend.
The floor has oil stains/moisture, can it stick durably?▼
Yes. The key is floor preparation — wipe off oil stains and moisture until completely clean and dry before applying, then choose a high-tack adhesive formula. The lines won't peel even if oil stains accumulate later.
How are tape colors classified according to 5S standards?▼
Mostly used are Yellow = Walkways/Boundaries · Red = Scrap/Do not block · Blue-Green = Raw materials/Work in progress · KINGHAWK offers a complete range for zoning according to factory layouts (Color standards can be adjusted per each factory's policy).
