Surface Preparation

Applying Pressure (Crucial Step)
การรีดกดให้กาวทำงาน

ใช้พลาสติกรีดเทป (Squeegee) หรือลูกกลิ้งยาง รีดกดทับลงบนชิ้นงานด้วยน้ำหนักที่สม่ำเสมอ การออกแรงกดมีความสำคัญมาก เพราะกาว 3M 9448A เป็นชนิด Pressure Sensitive ซึ่งแรงกดจะช่วยให้กาวไหลแทรกซึม (Wet-out) เข้ากับพื้นผิวได้ดีที่สุด

Final Assembly & Curing
การประกบชิ้นงานและระยะเซ็ตตัว

ลอกไลเนอร์ด้านที่เหลือออกแล้วนำชิ้นงานที่สองมาประกบ พร้อมออกแรงกดทับซ้ำอีกครั้ง แม้เทปจะมีแรงยึดเกาะเริ่มต้นสูง (High Initial Tack) แต่ประสิทธิภาพการยึดเกาะจะสูงสุด (Ultimate Adhesion) เมื่อทิ้งระยะเวลาไว้ประมาณ 72 ชั่วโมงที่อุณหภูมิห้อง
