สำหรับการใช้งานจากม้วนยาว 33 เมตร ให้ดึงเทปและลอกไลเนอร์ออกตามระยะที่ใช้งาน ข้อควรระวังขั้นวิกฤต: ห้ามดึงหรือยืดเนื้อโฟมขณะลากยาวเด็ดขาด เพราะจะเกิดแรงเค้นสะสม (Internal Stress) ซึ่งเป็นสาเหตุหลักที่ทำให้ขอบชิ้นงานประดับยนต์เผยอในระยะยาว

การกดรีดเพื่อหน้าสัมผัส (Wet-out)

ใช้ลูกกลิ้งยาง (Rubber Roller) กลิ้งกดทับชิ้นงานด้วยน้ำหนักที่สม่ำเสมอ (ประมาณ 15 psi หรือ 100 kPa) เพื่อบังคับให้เนื้อโฟมไหลแนบสนิทไปกับความขรุขระของพื้นผิวระดับไมครอน ซึ่งเป็นหัวใจสำคัญในการสร้างแรงยึดเกาะและซีลกันน้ำที่สมบูรณ์

Dwell Time & Curing
ระยะเวลาเซ็ตตัวของกาว

กาวอะคริลิคไม่ได้ยึดเกาะ 100% ในทันที โดยจะให้แรงยึด 50% ภายใน 20 นาที, 90% ภายใน 24 ชั่วโมง และแข็งแรงสูงสุด (Ultimate Bond) ภายใน 72 ชั่วโมง ที่อุณหภูมิห้อง ควรงดการใช้งานหนัก ฉีดน้ำแรงดันสูง หรือขับขี่ด้วยความเร็วในช่วง 24 ชั่วโมงแรก

Engineering Note (ข้อแนะนำทางวิศวกรรม)

อุณหภูมิที่เหมาะสมที่สุดในการติดตั้งเทปคือช่วง 21°C ถึง 38°C (70°F - 100°F) ไม่แนะนำให้ติดตั้งบนพื้นผิวที่มีอุณหภูมิต่ำกว่า 15°C เนื่องจากเนื้อกาวจะแข็งตัวและไม่สามารถสร้างการยึดเกาะเริ่มต้นได้ (Initial Tack) หากสภาพอากาศเย็นจัด ควรใช้ปืนเป่าลมร้อน (Hot Air Gun) อุ่นที่ชิ้นงานและตัวเทปเบาๆ ก่อนการติดตั้ง

ข้อจำกัดกับพลาสติก LSE

สำหรับการใช้งานม้วนยาว 33 เมตร ห้ามดึงรั้งเทปให้ตึงขณะลากยาวเด็ดขาด โครงสร้างโฟมแบบ Viscoelastic จะสะสมแรงเค้นและพยายามหดตัวกลับ (Memory Effect) ซึ่งเป็นสาเหตุหลักที่ทำให้ปลายคิ้วประดับยนต์หรือกาบข้างเผยอ (Edge Lifting)

ระบบกาว PSA จะให้แรงยึดเกาะเพียง 50% ใน 20 นาทีแรก ห้ามชิ้นงานรับแรงปะทะ ลุยฝนหนัก หรือโดนเครื่องฉีดน้ำแรงดันสูง ภายใน 24 ถึง 72 ชั่วโมงแรก เพื่อให้เนื้อกาวมีเวลาไหลผสานแนบสนิทกับความขรุขระของพื้นผิวระดับไมครอน (Wet-out) ได้ครบ 100%
