Surface Prep & Primer

การจัดวางและการลดแรงเค้น

ลอกแผ่นไลเนอร์ออก (ระวังอย่าให้มือสัมผัสเนื้อกาว) วางทาบเทปลงบนตำแหน่งเป้าหมาย ข้อควรระวังขั้นวิกฤต: ห้ามดึงหรือยืดเนื้อโฟมขณะติดตั้งโดยเด็ดขาด เพราะจะเกิดแรงเค้นสะสม (Internal Stress) ซึ่งเป็นสาเหตุหลักที่ทำให้ขอบชิ้นงานเผยอในระยะยาว

Pressure Application
การกดรีดเพื่อหน้าสัมผัส (Wet-out)

ใช้ลูกกลิ้งยาง (Rubber Roller) หรือมือกดรีดทับชิ้นงานด้วยน้ำหนักที่สม่ำเสมอ (ประมาณ 15 psi หรือ 100 kPa) เพื่อบังคับให้เนื้อโฟมอะคริลิคไหลแนบสนิทไปกับความขรุขระของพื้นผิวระดับไมครอน ซึ่งเป็นหัวใจสำคัญในการสร้างแรงยึดเกาะและซีลกันน้ำ

Dwell Time & Curing
ระยะเวลาเซ็ตตัวของกาว

กาวอะคริลิคไม่ได้ยึดเกาะ 100% ในทันที โดยจะให้แรงยึด 50% ภายใน 20 นาที, 90% ภายใน 24 ชั่วโมง และแข็งแรงสูงสุด (Ultimate Bond) ภายใน 72 ชั่วโมง ที่อุณหภูมิห้อง ควรงดการใช้งานหนัก ฉีดน้ำแรงดันสูง หรือขับขี่ด้วยความเร็วในช่วง 24 ชั่วโมงแรก
